Yeshivat Siach Yitzchak

Yeshivat Siach Yitzchak, a Hesder Yeshiva in Efrat, blends deep Torah study with open dialogue about one’s inner world and society. Founded in 1996 by Rabbi Shagar and Rabbi Yair Dreyfus, its core aim was to foster spiritual searching, sincerity, and a true connection to Torah.

Now led by Rabbi Yair Dreyfus, Rabbi Dr. Noam Samet, and Rabbi Dr. Uri Lipschitz, the Yeshiva has grown into a home for diverse religious students, emphasizing study through analysis, Chasidut, thought, and prayer.

Beyond its full Hesder program, the Yeshiva offers “Tzirufim” (for ages 24+), “BeTorato Yehgeh” (advanced study), and “Nehalech BeRagash” (for married men and women studying Rabbi Shagar’s teachings). The “Bina Le’Itim” Institute also operates alongside the Beit Midrash, promoting new religious language and philosophical Torah writing, facilitating ongoing dialogue among students, rabbis, and intellectuals.
